2017 ArtEd Camps

        We thank you for the 16 years in which you have chosen, time and time again, to spend your holidays at ArtEd Camp. As always, we assure you that we strive for the children to spend a lovely week in out camp, to have great memories about this place so that the pupils, their families and the teachers will not regret choosing us. The ArtEd concept is based on the 16 years of experience gathered since 2001. So, we wish that every year, the pupils in our camp will participate in diverse activities, during which we will combine spending quality time with achieving the educational objectives we aim for in our programmes:

1. developing the interrelation and communication abilities

2. developing the teamwork capability

3. developing the practical abilities

4. improving the spoken and written language

Through the proposed activities for each summer, we give each pupil the possibility to express themselves, so that, in the end, their parents, their teachers and, of course, the children, will rejoice together seeing their workshop accomplishments. We intertwine, each week, the sport activities with the acting, dancing, visual arts workshops. Also, the team games, the treasure hunt, karaoke and the adventure day (we learn how to survive in an extreme situation) are other ways to make our camps both fun, and usefull.

         The novelties for 2017 are: increasing the size of the adventure park: 3 flying fox, 6 suspended decks, a climbing wall, archery, the hexagon with balance games, spiderweb and the adventure day (a programme that consists of outdoor nature activities and passing through the adventure park). In the ArtEd Turistic Complex, out first camp location, the capacity is of only 110 people; the pupils are accommodated in apartments (2 rooms with 3 beds each, and a bathroom with 2 sinks); the apartments are between 37 and 54 square meters; the camp is surrounded with a fence, has video surveillance and the children can leave camp only if they are chaperoned with their teachers – they have the gate access card. The room access is also by card. The pupils will have acting, dancing, visual arts, photography, sport, music, archery, orientation workshops. In the afternoon, we will hike in the Ceahlau National  Park; in the evening, the children will dance and relax at the disco; we will also choose one of the days to have a short boat trip on the Bicaz Lake, leaving from the Ceahlău village. At the end of the camp, the final presentation will take place in the “ArtEd” performance hall, specially designed for children’s show, that has a capacity of 150 people, so every week we also invite the pupil’s parents to the final show.

The Panicel Turistic Complex, our second camp location this year, is situated 2 km away from Rasnov; here, besides the well-known ArtEd workshops, the pupils will also have a horse riding workshop. The children will be accommodated in rooms for 3 or 4 people with their own bathroom and also in 6 people apartments. The novelties for the 2017 summer are: increasing the workshop number and introducing new activities for  the after-noon (in the case the groups will not leave on optional trips or if the weather is bad).
